Slayers 2 Breathing Tier List
Ranked for the launch balance of Slayers 2 (Project Slayers 2). PvP weighs more than PvE because that is where the style gap shows; if you only farm bosses, treat Flame and Stone one tier higher. Learn how to unlock any of them in how to get a breathing style.
S Tier S
Burst damage and dash-based openers. Thunderclap and Flash closes distance instantly and most of the kit is built around chaining a gap-closer into a stun.
Why: fastest gap closer in the game; but low sustain if the opener misses.
Heavy-hitting, wide sweeps with burn damage over time. Flame trades some speed for the biggest single hits among the launch styles.
Why: highest raw damage per form; but slower startup than thunder.
Explosive area damage with dual blades. Fewer forms than the other S tiers, but each one covers a large area and staggers groups.
Why: best crowd clear; but fewer forms.
A Tier A
The most complete kit at launch: ten forms covering mobility, counters and a full-screen finisher. Nothing is the best at anything, everything is good.
Why: ten forms, most in the game; but average damage per hit.
Multi-hit slashes with knockback. Wind wins by keeping opponents off balance and chipping them down instead of one big hit.
Why: constant pressure; but lower burst.
Curving, hard-to-read slashes that bend around blocks. Serpent is the style for players who win by reading the opponent rather than out-damaging them.
Why: attacks curve around guards; but needs practice to land consistently.
Fast thrusts that apply poison stacks. Insect has low base damage but the poison keeps ticking after you disengage, which makes it excellent for hit-and-run.
Why: poison damage over time; but weak direct damage.
B Tier B
Slow, armoured strikes with a damage-reduction form. Stone is tanky and hits hard, but every form has a long windup that experienced players can punish.
Why: damage reduction from stone skin; but slowest style.
