Water Breathing in Slayers 2 A

Mizu no Kokyu · Slayer path · Tier A (the middle of 5 lists) on the breathing tier list

To get Water Breathing in Slayers 2, reach level 25 on the Slayer path and bring 5,000 Wen and 30 Demon Horns to the trainer Urokodaki in Bamboo Grove. The trainer then sets six training tasks: five mini-games, then a fight with the Water Trainee. The most complete kit at launch: ten forms covering mobility, counters and a full-screen finisher. Nothing is the best at anything, everything is good. This page covers Water Breathing in Slayers 2, the game formerly listed as Project Slayers 2.

How to get Water Breathing in Slayers 2

Water Breathing requirements

Urokodaki asks for all of this before the training starts:

  • Level 25
  • Slayer path
  • 5,000 Wen
  • 30 Demon Horns

Farm the materials before the trip, or you walk back for them. Demon Horns drop from demons; Pro Game Guides farms the Hoyuzo boss's subordinates (a 30% chance of one horn) or the Hoyuzo boss itself (a 50% chance of three).

Water Breathing training tasks

The tasks unlock one at a time in this order, and the quest marker leads to each training area.

  1. Parkour Dungeon. Cross the jumps and ledges to the end without falling. Water's version, the Parkour Dungeon, has six obstacles and three lives. Wall Climb and Double Jump make the hard jumps easier.
  2. Push Ups. Butterfly Mansion: the push-up mat in the big house to the right of the spawn crystal. Click each white circle just as the inner ring is about to touch its edge. Standing up with a red aura means the set failed.
  3. Boulder Push. The maze between Windy Peak and Mistfall Harbor, right behind the two Boulder Split boulders. Push a boulder where the white arrow points within two minutes, or it starts over. The boulder can clip through some walls, which shortens the route.
  4. Aim Training. Butterfly Mansion: the target-shooting range near the big house to the right of the spawn crystal. Start at either target board and click the targets as they pop up.
  5. Underwater Rocks. The lake beside Bamboo Grove. Collect five glowing blue rocks. They can be anywhere in the lake, so watch your oxygen.
  6. Beat the Water Trainee. Pro Game Guides names the trainee Sabito and warns that his area attacks can take you out in one hit, so keep your distance. See where Water Trainee Sabito spawns.

Winning that fight unlocks Water Breathing. Open the Skill Tree afterwards and spend your skill points on its forms. Training areas on the map: Butterfly Mansion, Bamboo Grove.

Best clan for Water Breathing

These clans' kits boost this style, so they pair best with it:

  • Tomioka clan (Legendary, A-tier): Water Breathing players who like longer fights and cooldown resets; the Wen discount also helps progression.
  • Urokodaki clan (Rare, A-tier): An easy Water Breathing clan: passive Water damage and stamina savings with nothing to activate, plus strong defence if you wear a mask.
  • Sabito clan (Rare, B-tier): Water Breathing and Katana builds; the dash and sword damage mode is unusually strong for a Rare.
