Slayers 2 Beginner Guide: Level 1 to Final Selection
The fastest early route in Slayers 2 (Project Slayers 2): bandit quests, your first katana, bear farming for cores, breathing at level 25 and Final Selection at level 45.
Before you start
- Join the Ouw Productions Roblox group, then redeem the launch codes for 30 spins and 100 Wen. Codes fail silently if you are not in the group.
- Spend a few spins on your clan right away. Anything Legendary or better is worth keeping; see the clan tier list.
- Decide early whether you want the slayer or demon path. Read demon or slayer; this guide follows the slayer route.
Levels 1 to 7: bandit quest chain at Windy Peak
You spawn in Windy Peak. Take the bandit quests from the quest giver just outside the village; they chain from level 1 to about 7 and each turn-in pays Wen. Fight in groups of two or three bandits and back off to regenerate rather than dying, because death sends you back to spawn.
At level 7 the chain ends with the Bandit Boss. Bring full HP, dodge the overhead swing, and hit during the recovery. The boss drops enough Wen for your first weapon.
Buy a katana (500 Wen), then the fancy katana (1,500 Wen)
The basic katana in Windy Peak costs 500 Wen and roughly doubles your damage over fists. The fancy katana is sold at Mistfall Harbor for 1,500 Wen; get it before the bear area, not after.
Levels 7 to 13: Kona side quests
Kona in Windy Peak gives repeatable side quests that fill the gap between the bandit boss and the bear zone. They are boring but safe. Pick up every drop; horns and cores are needed later.
Levels 13 to 25: bear farming
The bear area opens up at level 13. Bears hit hard but are slow: circle, strike twice, dodge. They drop beast cores, which every breathing trainer demands. Start stacking demon horns from demon spawns along the road too. A dungeon portal spawns nearby; only enter it in a party at this level.
Level 25: pick a breathing style
This is the biggest decision of the early game. Read the breathing tier list, then follow how to get a breathing style to the right trainer. Water is the safest first pick; Thunder and Flame are the strongest.
Levels 25 to 45: forms, Wen and the Butterfly Mansion
Each form unlocks with levels and Wen, so keep farming the highest-level area you can survive. Use the medic at the Butterfly Mansion to heal between runs. Match your clan to your style if you still have spins; see the clan reroll guide.
Level 45: Final Selection
At level 45 you can enter Final Selection, the slayer exam. Passing gives you the slayer rank and uniform and opens the mid-game. From there the loop is dungeons, bosses and PvP.
Common mistakes
- Spending Wen on cosmetics before the fancy katana.
- Rolling clans one at a time; roll in batches so you can compare.
- Picking a breathing style because of the anime rather than the tier list.
- Entering the dungeon portal solo at level 13.
